1. Overview & Regulatory Compliance

Easyplanr ("we", "our", or "us") operates an event vendor marketplace and equipment rental platform across the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data is handled securely, transparently, and in strict accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), and international mobile privacy guidelines mandated by Apple and Google.

2. Specific Information We Collect & Why

We adhere to strict data minimization principles. We only collect information strictly required to deliver our event coordination, rental, payment, and mediation services:

• Email Address: Used for secure sign-in authentication (Firebase), delivering booking receipts, caution fee settlement statements, security alerts, and dispute resolution.
• Full Name & Phone Number: Essential for vendor coordination, logistics dispatch, delivery drivers finding your venue, and SMS/WhatsApp status notifications.
• Venue & Delivery Location: Used to compute accurate delivery travel costs from vendors, connect you with local services (Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan), and provide map directions.
• Vendor KYC Verification (CAC & NIN): For commercial vendors only. We collect Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) certificates and National Identity Numbers (NIN) to vet vendors and prevent fraudulent listings.
• Bank Account Details (Vendors Only): Bank Name, Account Number, and Account Name are collected solely to disburse earnings from fulfilled bookings and process caution fee settlements.

3. Payment & Financial Data Security

Payment processing on Easyplanr is handled entirely by Paystack Payments Limited, a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) licensed and PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway.

4. Caution Fee Escrow Data Handling

For event rentals (such as canopies, sound gear, cooling equipment, and banquet furniture), caution deposits are deposited into a designated platform escrow account.

Photographic evidence and inspection reports collected during equipment return are stored securely and referenced solely in the event of damage dispute arbitration between customer and vendor.

5. Third-Party Service Providers & SDKs

We work with trusted enterprise infrastructure providers to operate the application:

• Firebase (Google LLC): Cloud user authentication and real-time chat data synchronization.
• Supabase (PostgreSQL): Secure relational database hosting order records and vendor catalogs with Row Level Security (RLS).
• Sentry: Real-time crash diagnostics and performance monitoring to resolve app bugs.
• Expo / Apple APNs / Google FCM: Delivery of push notifications regarding order status updates.

6. User Rights & Account / Data Deletion (Apple 5.1.1(v) & Google Play Compliant)

In accordance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play User Data policies, users have the right to request full and permanent deletion of their account and personal data.

How to Delete in App: You can initiate account deletion at any time directly inside the mobile app:

1. Open the Easyplanr mobile application
2. Go to Profile → Scroll to Account Settings
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm your request

Upon confirmation, all personally identifiable information (profile avatar, phone, email, and authentication records) is permanently deleted. Financial transaction logs required for tax, audit, and fraud-prevention compliance are retained in an anonymized format under Nigerian commercial law.
