Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using Easyplanr ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the application. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2. Account Registration & KYC Verification

Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during registration.
Vendor KYC Verification: Vendors are required to provide verifiable corporate details, including Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration documents and National Identity Numbers (NIN). Easyplanr reserves the right to suspend or reject any vendor failing verification.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials.

3. Payments & Caution Fee Escrow

Payment Processing: All digital payments are processed through CBN-licensed payment partners (Paystack). Easyplanr does not store debit card credentials.
Caution Fees for Rentals: Certain rental equipment (canopies, sound systems, cooling gear, chairs) requires an upfront caution fee. Caution fees are held in platform escrow until the vendor confirms the safe return and inspection of all rented equipment.
Deductions for Damage: In the event of confirmed loss or damage, the vendor may claim damages against the caution fee upon providing photo evidence and a formal inspection report within the app.

4. Cancellations, Alterations & Refunds

Cancellation by Customer: Cancellations must be requested through the app. Refund eligibility depends on the vendor's cancellation window and whether custom preparations have already begun.
Alternative Products: If a booked rental item becomes unavailable, vendors may propose alternative items at adjusted pricing. The customer retains full discretion to accept or reject the alternative.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for cancellations arising from severe natural disruptions or official government restrictions.

5. In-App Messaging & Community Standards

Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Harassment, hate speech, vulgarity, or intimidation in in-app chats will result in immediate permanent account suspension.
Off-Platform Solicitations: Bypassing the platform to execute unrecorded cash transactions forfeits all escrow protections, dispute mediation, and caution fee guarantees.

6. Anti-Fraud Policy & Account Deletion Safeguards

Prohibition on Evading Liabilities: You may not delete or close your account to evade payment obligations, unreturned rental equipment, open disputes, or fraudulent activities.

Any account deletion request submitted while active orders, unreturned rental equipment, or pending disputes exist will be deferred until all obligations are reconciled in full.

7. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the event of any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the parties agree to first seek resolution through Easyplanr platform mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
